Haishs Parrallel Barb Wire 1885 Haishs Parallel - Modified Class, 1884-1892.  Incorporated the better features in earlier wire.
Stubbe Plate Barb Wire 1883 Stubbs Plate - Obvious Class, Designed to add visibility to fences reducing the injury to livestock.
Scutts Arrow Plate Barb Wire 1878 Scutts Arrow Plate - Vicious Class from 1876-1880.  Designed to inflict injury to livestock.  In theory they would learn to stay away from fence.
Kelly Thorny Fence Barb Wire 1868 Kelly Thorny Fence - Early Varied Class from 1868 - 1877.  This was one of the first attempts at patentable inventions.
Ribbon Barb Wire Ribbon Wire - 1880's - Designed to use in horse lots to restrain without injury.  Also used by cattlemen for drift fencing.
